Commonwealth, a developed subzone of Queenstown, lies within the central-western region of Singapore. Already containing a number of residential developments, the recently launched site on Margaret Drive will not be by its lonesome—although its novelty as a highly-anticipated condominium may mark it as a residence of exceptional prestige.
Commonwealth is home to several useful and enjoyable amenities for residents, including several schools, access to public transportation, several churches and mosques, Queenstown Community Centre, Ridout Tea Garden, and more.
Although the management of this subzone has changed several times since 1955 due to shifts in political power, Commonwealth is currently managed by Tanjong Pagar Town Council.
The location has undergone numerous developments in order to make the area a more enjoyable, habitable area for residents of Singapore. The addition of several dining venues, shopping centres, and community facilities have lended an increased vibrancy to Commonwealth, and the development of a strong transportation system has similarly resulted in optimal convenience for commuting residents.
